We are a little, independent, family-owned coffee shop on the fringe of the city.

Though we are small now, we soon won’t be! We are working to expand our premises to make a large, high-quality English restaurant.

We are expanding the coffee house to make a traditional English restaurant in 2008, with dining on the ground and first floors, and a modern kitchen in a new, large, purpose-made cellar.

The Market Coffee House will be open early till late, seven days a week. It will serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The bar will have a lively independent identity.The restaurant will be licensed and serve mainly French wines by the bottle and glass. We will serve house wine in carafes. Regular deliveries of bottled wine will come from our City wine merchants. We will offer a fine wine list of Clarets and Burgundies from our cellar. Bottled beer and spirits will also be available.
